Mildred E (Roberts) Collins

Mildred E. Collins, 84, Burrton, died Saturday, May 24, 1997 at her residence. She was born December 27, 1912 at Mt. Hope, Kansas, the daughter of Dallas Roberts and Elma William Roberts. A resident of Burrton since 1933, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Burrton Christian Church.

On March 31, 1933 she married Joseph P. Collins in Burrton. He died September 16, 1966. Survivors: son, Darrell Collins, Burrton; daughters, Marlys Holzrichter, Burrton and Joyce Bowers, Denver, Colorado; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandparents.

She was preceded in death by two sons, J. Dallas Collins and William Robert Collins; five brothers, Ed Roberts; Herman Roberts; Bill Roberts; Dell Roberts and Tom Roberts; three sisters, Charlotte Goodman; Perle Graham and Ada Roberts.

Funeral was May 20 at the Burrton Christian Church, Burrton with the Rev. Steve Payne presiding. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
