Obituary

Ruth M. Drake, 88, Sedgwick, died Friday, July 11, 1997 at her residence. She was born August 13, 1908 at Peck, Kansas, the daughter of Elmer and Della Morrell Dick A resident of Sedgwick since 1940, she was a homemaker.

On September 20, 1940, she married Gilbert E. Drake in Newkirk, Oklahoma. He died October 10, 1969.

Survivors: son, Rodger K. Drake, Strong City and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin Dick and Ralph Dick and a sister, Marie Munro.

Funeral was Tuesday, July 15 a Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with the Rev. Dallas Evans presiding. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
