Juanita Lydia Smith, 71, homemaker, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation. She was born Jan 30, 1939 at Halstead to Jacob and Lydia (Koehn) Schmidt. She married Mortimer John Smith III at Gladstone Mo. He preceded her in death. She is survived by cousin and guardian Kenneth(Ruth) Smith of Halstead. Funeral service was March 8 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with Minster Stanley Wiggers officiating. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery Halstead. Memorials may be given to the Gospel Tract and Bible Society in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
