Obituary

Linda R. Foiles, 40, Newton, sister of Joyce Rodenberg, Halstead, died Tuesday, June 17, 1997 at the Kansas Christian Home, Newton. She was born June 3, 1957 in Long Beach, California, the daughter of Lawrence and Norma Barton Foiles.

Living most of her list in Newton, she was a 1975 graduate of Newton High School. She attended Brown Mackey College in Salina for one year. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Newton.

Other survivors include her mother and step-father, Edwin Foiles, Newton; brother, Steven Foiles, Hesston and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.

Graveside services were held Saturday, June 21 at Restlawn Gardens of Memory, rural Newton, with Mike Thiessen officiating.Memorials may be sent to Central Homecare and Hospital in care of Petersen Funeral Home, Newton.
