Obituary

Raymond E. Gresham, 81, Wichita, formerly of Halstead, died Monday, July 7, 1997 at his residence. He was born December 9, 1915 at Burrton, the son of Clyde E. and Mary McFarland Gresham. A Wichita resident since 1942, moving from Halstead, he was a retired Coleman Company receiving clerk.

He was a member of the Halstead Masonic Lodge No. 46 and a U. S. Army Veteran, serving during World War II.

On April 12, 1939, he married Doris L. Peaney at Bentley. She died January 20,, 1920. Survivors include sons, Larry E. Gresham, Valley Center and Russell E. Gresham, Wichita; sister, Vesta of Wichita; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral will be Thursday July 10 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with the Rev. Kenny Powers presiding. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
