Obituary

Winston W. Jantz, 83, a longtime rural Hesston resident, died July 15, 1997 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston, He was born December 1, 1913 at rural Moundridge, the son of Emil M. and Sarah Holdeman Jantz. He graduated from Walton High School. A rural Hesston resident since 1941, he was a retired farmer and had been a director of the Harvey County Farm Bureau. He belonged to the Hesston United Methodist Church.

On February 23, 1941, he married Esther M. Smith at rural Halstead. Survivors include his wife; two sons; Jerry Jantz, Halstead and Larry Jantz, Littleton, Colorado; brother, Kerwin Jantz, Newton; two sisters, Floris Miller, Goessel and Beryl Isaak, Deer Creek, Oklahoma and five grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday morning at the Church. Burial was in Hesston Cemeteries.
