Obituary

Joseph B. Kennedy, 72, Valley Center, brother of Helen Gresham of Sedgwick, died July 14, 1997 in Wichita. He was born December 7, 1927 at Holcomb, Kansas, the son of Henry and Ruby Davis Kennedy. He was a retired interior finish carpenter for Joe Kennedy & Sons Construction Company.

Survivors: wife, Louise, of the home; three sons, Bill Kennedy, Linden, Virginia; David Kennedy, Valley Center, and Joe Kennedy, Wichita; brother, Robert Kennedy, Valley Center; two other sisters, Phyllis Severs, McPherson and Gladys Ropp, Pacific Grove, California; and two grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Valley Center, conducted by the Rev. Tal Tittsworth and the Rev. Jack Ropp. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
