Obituary

Virginia L. Koehn, 60, Halstead, died Tuesday, December 30, 1997 at her home. She was born January 5, 1937 in rural Galva, the daughter of Alpha and Eve Unruh Wedel. A resident of Halstead since 1961, she was a Halstead Hospital dietary department employee.

She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Halstad. On May 19, 1961, she married Donald W. Koehn in rural Galva. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Chad J. Koehn, Halstead, two brothers, Darold Wedel, Canton and Eldon R. Wedel, Galva; three sisters, Norma Wedel, Galva, Elizabeth Vogts, Moundridge and Dorothy Sanford, Copeland; and one granddaughter, Ashley Michelle Koehn, Halstead.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery J. Koehn who died February 12, 1977.

Services were held at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead with buriaal in the Halstead Cemetery.
