Obituary

Vera M. Minor, 87, Burrton, died Monday, August 25, 1997 at Leisure Homestead in Stafford. She was born February 11, 1910 at Kinsley, the daughter of Herman and Ann Margaret Weyrich Miller. A long time resident of Burrton, she was a retired teller from the Halstead Bank in Halstead. On August 2, 1932, she married George W. Minor at Kinwsley. He died January 18, 1997. Survivors: sister, Dorothy Mead, Canton; nephew, Ronnie Barlett, Havasu City, Arizona; nieces, Cleara Clarkson, Canton; Vera C. Berger, Burrton and LaVon Black, Sedgwick. Private graveside services were held in the Halstead Cemetery, with the Rev. James A. Mardock presiding.
