Obituary

George W. Minor, 97, Burrton, died Saturday, January 18, 1997 at Leisure Homestead, Stafford. He was born September 10, 1899 at Dalton, Missouri, the son of John L. and Augusta Werrbach Minor. A longtime resident of Burrton, he was a retired farmer and electrician. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the U. S. Army during World War I.

On August 2, 1932, he married Vera M. Miller in Kinsley. She survives. Other survivors include a sister, Leeta Willcut, Albuquerque, New Mexico and nieces, Lavon Black, Sedgwick, Vera C. Berger, Burrton. He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Graveside service was Tuesday, January 21, in the Halstead Cemetery, Halstead, Kansas.
