Obituary

Hazel C. Lyle, 83, rural Halstead, died Saturday, December 27, 1997 at her residence. She was born July 27, 1914 in Rush County, Kansas, the daughter of John and Carrie Wilden Miller. A resident of Halstead since 1942, she was a retired nurse and homemaker.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, both in Halstead.

On February 21, 1942, she married Henry M. Moyle in Wichita. He survives. Other survivors: daughter, Connie Jo Moody, Claremore, Oklahoma; four sisters, Alta Miller, Hutchinson; Atha Mulch, Scott City; Ethel West, Crystal Lake, Illinois and Clara West, Rush Center; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Miller.

Funeral was Tuesday, December 30 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
