Obituary

Jacob Henry Mueller, 87, Halstead, died Friday, December 12, 1997 at Halstead Hospital. He was born February 11, 1910 at Halstead, the son of Jacob and Elisabeth Ellenberger Mueller. A resident of Halstead for 70 years, he was a retired farmer and DJIA supervisor.

On May 30, 1976, he married Ella Pacl Lunn at Fairfax, South Dakota. She survives. Other survivors: sons, Keith E. Mueller, Halsteaad; Dennis W. Mueller, Wellington, Florida and Donald D. Mueller, Wichita; daughter, Elizabeth Renburg, Diamond, Missouri; stepson, Eugene Lunn, Veremillion, South Dakota; stepdaughters, Bette Denker, O'Neill, Nebraska and Lynelle Stalecker, O'Neill, Nebraska; sisters, Amelia Mueller and Doris Ewy, both of Halstead; 19 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Mueller and two sisters, Hilda Shaum, and Elfriede Stucky.

Funeral was Monday, December 15 at First Mennonite Church in Halstead, burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
