Obituary

George Ratzlaff, 85, died June 14, 1997 at the Buhler Sunshine Home. He was born September 28, 1911, the son of Johon and Anna Neufeld Ratzlaff. A lifetime resident of the Buhler-Burrton area, he was a employee of Skelly Oil Co. for 25 years.

He belonged to Moose Lodge No. 982, Hutchinson and Burrton American Legion Post and was a 15 year member of the National Rifle Association.

On Februry 4, 1930, he married Eleanor Reed at Wichita. She died April 13, 1988. Survivors: son, George Ratzlaff, Hutchinson; brother, Paul Ratzlaff, Moundridge; two granddaughters, three great grandchildren; four step great grandchildrn and two step great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral was Tuesday, June 17 at Buhler Mortuary. Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
