Obituary

Michael D. "Mike" Base, 47, died December 12, 1998, at his home in Grand Prairie, Texas.

He was born July 1, 1951, at Hutchinson, the son of Henry and Minnie Jo (Schrader) Base. A former Hutchinson resident, he attended Hutchinson Community College and Kansas State University. He was a former Cessna employee at Hutchinson, and a Boeing employee. He became the owner of Base Worldwide Consulting.

He was a member of the Grand Prairie Model Air Association, and the Single Action Shooting Society.

In 1980, he married Lynn Caywood at Hutchinson. She survives.

Funeral will be at 4:00 pm today (Jan. 1, 1999) at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Pastor James Grundy presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 am to service time today at the mortuary. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association in care of the mortuary.
