Obituary

Aileen Della Jaxobs, 84, homemaker, died Sunday, May 10 at Halstead health and Rehabilitation, Halstead. She was born Aug. 12, 1924 at Miltonvale, to George and Georgianna(Haput) Heabert, both are deceased. A Halstead resident for five jears formerly of Garden City, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary both of Garden City. On Sept. 26, 1953 she married Bernhart William Jacobs at Overland Park. He died February 20, 2004. Survivors include a son, Gary and Donna Jacobs, Augusta; a daughter, Justina Jacobs, Augusta; a sister Velda Morrisette, Concordia; three grandchidren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brothers: bill Adlore, Bud and Alsid Heabert, and sisters: alma Duckworth, ella Woodward and Stella Lyne. Funeral Service was Friday, May 15 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead with Chaplain Hambley officiating. Committal Service was Saturday, May 16 at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Pittsburg with pastor Theodore Cook officiating. Memorials may be given to Bethesda Lutheran Services in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
