Obituary

Vada E. Hudspeth, 96, homemaker, died Friday, November 6, 2009 at Immanuel Lutheran Home, Kalispell, Montana.

She was born April 6, 1913 at Burrton, KS to Francis Edward and Ethel (Freese) Baughman. She was a former resident of Halstead and Burrton she had been a resident of Kalispell, Mt since 2003. She was a member of Rocky Mountain Baptist Church, Kalispell, Mt after having been a member of Halstead Baptist Church for over 30 years.

Survivors include sons:Evert "Bill" (Dorothy) Grubbs, Springfield, MO; Gene (Kay) Huspeth, Blue Eye, MO; Daughters: Marilyn Sterling Ingram, Kingman, KS; Terresa (Dan) Lydick, Kalispell, MT; Brother: Ralph Baughman, Wimberly, TX; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son: Gillis Grubbs, a daughter: Phyllis Sterling; Brother: Rev. Ray Baughman; and sisters Frances Rexer and Faye Allen.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Halstead Baptist Church with Pastors Dan Lydick and Roger Ericksten presiding. Burial will follow at Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, KS. Memorials may be given to Rocky Mountain Baptist Church in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, KS.
