Obituary

Richard Dale Edrisk 64, Whitewater, father to former Halstead resident, Charles Edris, now of Whitewater, died Saturday, May 30, 1998 at Wichita. He was born February 12, 1934 at Newton, the son of Charles and Emma Brockway Edris. He graduated from Whitewater High School. A Whitewater resident for most of his life, he was a warehouseman for Cargill. He belonged to the Federated Church in Whitewater.

On January 18, 1954, he married Jeep Tallman at Potwin. She survives. Other survivors: three other sons, Harry Edris, Whitewater; Dennis Edris, Elmira, Oregon and Bruce Edris, Newton; two daughters, Sue Archer, Whitewater and Tina Hastings, Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.

Funeral was Wednesday, June 3 at the Federated Church in Whitewater with Pastor Scott Martin presiding. Burial was in the Whitewater Cemetery.
