Obituary

Charles Edward Gooch, Jr., 79, Burrton, died Monday, August 31, 1998 at Via Christi Regional Medican Center, Wichita. He was born April 25, 1919 at Roy, Montana, the son of Charles Edward, Sr., and Lue Johnson Gooch. He graduated from Gridley High School and attended the University of Kansas and Emporia State University. He had been a resident of Burrton since 1991. He was a free lance technical writer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Wichita.

Survivors: Fiancee, Hazel Crowell of Burrton.

Memorial service is Thursday, Septemer 3 at Brigadoon Community Building in Burrton with the Rev. James Rundy presiding. Memorials to the American Heart Association.
