Obituary

Robert John Hartman, 80, Wichita, Wichita, died Sunday, April 19, 1998 at St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita. He was born June 28, 1917 in Uniontown, the son of John and Addie Bruce Hartman.

A longtime Sedgwick resident, he attended the Sedgwick Schools. He served in the Army during World War II and retired from Boeing in 1979 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the International Association of Machinist Aero Space Workers for 30 years.

Survivors: two sisters, Peggy Unruh and Betty Beahr,both of Newton as well as 13 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline Deharde, Marjorie Beeton and Mildred Beeton.

Graveside services were held April 22 at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Rev. Larry Groves, presiding.
