Obituary

Janice N. Hiebert, 62, Walton, died Friday, October 23, 1998 at her home in Walton. She was born November 4, 1935 at Newton, daughter of John Gustav and Edna Hulda Fensky Groeman. She attended Sunnyside from first to sixth grade. Kellas for seventh and eighth and then graduated from high school in 1953. She also graduated from vocational education, receiving certified trainiing in adult education, a Kansas State Department of Health and Environment certificate for nursing home aide, and certification in telemetry monitoring.

She married LaVern Hiebert on June 1, 1991. He survives. Other survivors: three sons, Kevin Neal Caffery, Chicago, Illinois, John Erin Caffery, Hesston and Michael Sean Caffery, Wichita; daughter, Donna Wheeler, Newton; two sisters, Betty Doreen Scudder, Boring, Oregon and Joan Joy Walser, Newton; six grandchildren.

Funeral was October 28 at Hesston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Rich presiding. Burial was in Restlawn Gardens of Memory, Newton.
