Obituary

Robert D. Howard, 51, Newton, brother to Margaret A. Howard and half brother to Paul Dutch Mannel, both of Burrton, died Friday, January 16, 1998 at Newton Medical Center in Newton.

He was born February 21, 1946 at Hutchinson, the son of Charles E. and Fern Smith Howard. A long time area resident, he was a laborer.

On October 29, 1993 he married Evalyn Williams in Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors: son, Billy Howard, Hutchinson; father, Charles Howard of Oklahoma; brother, Charles Howard, Jr. Hutchinson; stepdaughter, Cynthia Ingold, address unknown; stepsons, Daniel Ingold, Larned; Douglas Ingold, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Charles Steadman, Hutchinson; Christ Steadman, Newton and Anthony Woolery, Wichita.

Graveside service was January 20 in Greenwood Cemetery Newton with Pastor S. Eugene Barker presiding.
