Lois Jacobson, 93, Midwest City, Oklahoma, former Sedgwick and Newton resident, died August 17, 1998 at the home of her daughter, Janice Bissell, Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born January 19, 1905 at Newton, the daughter of William and Ophelia Forgey Huffman. She married Clarence O. Jacobson June 5, 1924 at Oklahoma City. He died April of 1997.
She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in the operation of the Dairyland Store in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Wickline Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, all of Midwest City.
Survivors: three sons, William N. Jacobson, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Rev. Larry Jacobson, Chickasha, Oklahoma and Kenneth Jacobson, Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Janice Bissell, Pryor, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Clarence O. Jacobson Jr. and Phillip Jacobson.
Services were held August 21 at the Church in Midwest City with the Rev. Doug Thatcher. Graveside service was in the afternnon at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton with the Rev. Larry Jacobson, Paylor Funeral Home, Midwest City will be in Charge.
