Obituary

Milton Kenneth Jantz, 76, Cimarron, formerly of Halstead, died August 2, 1998 at Western Plains Regional Hospital in Dodge City. He was born July 9, 1922 at Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, the son of Samuel John and Emma Dalke Jantz.

He was an insurance agent with Elliott Insurance in Halstead before moving to Newton. In 1975, he moved to Cimarron where he was an agency superintendent for the Cimarron Insurance Company. He served in the U. S. Army Air Force as a sergeant during World War II.

On November 7, 1942, he married LaEva Mae Buller at Fort Cobb. She survives. Other survivors: two sons, Vernon Jantz, Wichita and Mike Jantz, Florence, Alabama; daughter, Betty Jantz, Denver, Colorado; two brothers, Eldon Jantz, Chico, California and Ross Jantz, McKinney, Texas; sister, Winifred Koehn, Halstead; 6 grndchildren and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Stanley Jantz and Terry Jantz.

Services were August 6 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Buial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
