Obituary

Leona A. Krehbiel, 93, Alvin, Texas, formerly of Burrton, died Friday, February 13, 1998 t Cedar Lake Regional Medical Center, Webster, Texas. She was born June 24, 1904, the daughter of Hubert and Martie Robinson Wilson. A longtime Burrton resident, she scheduled deliveries for her husband, who was the Standard Gas dealer and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Burrton Christian Church, the Burrton Garden Club and the Burrton Saddle Club.

On December 13, 1923, she married Vernon D. Krehbiel. He died January 13, 1976.

Survivors: son and his wife, Robert Truman Krehbiel and Solveig, Alvin, Texas; granddaughter, Robin Sue Martinez, Hutchinson; and a great granddaughter, Heather Braman.

Graveside service was February 17 in the Burrton Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Payne presiding.
