Ben C Schirmer

Ben C. Schirmer, 88, Burrton, died Friday, July 10, 1998 at the Halstead Hospital. He was born February 17, 1910 at Newton, the son of Richard and Elizbeeth Kauffman Schirmer. A lifelong resident of Burrton, he was a farmer and stockman.

He was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Halstead.

Survivors: brother, Wesley Lantz, Kansas City, Missouri; two nieces and six nephews.

Funeral was Tuesday, July 14 ar First Mennonite Church, Halstead, with the Rev. Cleo Koop presiding. Burial was in Swiss Mennonite Cemetery, Whitewater.
