Obituary

Wilma Louise Thomas, 65, Pineville, Missouri, formerly of Halstead, died Wednesday, March 25, 1998 at Freeman Neosho Hospital after an illness. She was born Februry 20, 1933 in Purdy, Missouri. She was a resident of Pineville, Missouri for about four years, moving from Halstead here she had lived for 20 years. She worked at Cessna Aircraft in Wichita for many years.

On May 23, 1950, she married Thomas W. Thomas. He survives. Other survivors: sons, Eddie Thomas, Rocky Comfort, Misssouri and Wesley Thomas, Anderson, Missouri; four daughters, Diana Estus, Goessel; Debra Turner, Wichita; Denise Stites, Goodman, Missouri and Donna Stites of Lansgan Missouri; three brothers, Raymond Buchanan, Rose Hill; Dennis Buchanan, Towanda and John Buchanan, Powell, Missoouri; fve sisters, Claudine Richardson and Karen LaPlant, both of Mulvane; Betty Taylor, Wichita; Wilda Cornelison, Towanda and Shirley Dake, Wheaton, Missouri; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral service was Friday, March 27 at May Community Church, west of Goodman, Missouri with the Rev Jerry Blair presididng. Graveside service was Saturday, in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
