Obituary

L. Louise Corcoran, 80, Burrton, died Monday, January 18, 1999 at Halstead Hospital. She was born November 19. 1918 at Falun, Kansas, the daughter of Lamer and Agnes Blomberg Griep. A resident of Burrton since 1956, she was a bookeeper at Hertzler Clinic before retiring.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Sacred Heart Altar Society and Halstead Hospital Auxiliary, all of Halstead.

On February 20, 1941, she married George Aubrey Corcoran at Hutchinson. He died September 22, 1981.

Survivors: four sons; Jan Corcoran, Rockland, Maine; Kim Corcoran and Shaun Corcoran, both of Burrton and Chad Corcoran, Hutchinson; three daughters, Vickie Evans, Phoenix, Arizona; Kay Luff, Wichita and Michelle Griffith of Burrton; sister, Lela Sears, Aurora, Colorado; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Griep and Arnold Griep and a sister, Viola Lindholm.

Rosary and visitation is Wednesday, January 20, all at the Church. Mass will be Thursday, January 21, also at Sacred Heart Church, with Father James O'Shea presiding. Burial will be in Burrton Cemetery.
