Obituary

Mildred L. Dielman, 86, Halstead, died Monday, September 20, 1999 at Friendly Acres Retirement Community in Newton. She was born February 10, 1913 at McPherson, the daughter of Martin and Sadie Smith Grant. A resident of Halstead since 1954, she was a hairdresser.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, both at Halsteaad and the Order of the Eastern Star and Rebekahs Lodge, both a Newtwon.

On July 12, 1934, she married Wilfred P. "Fritz" Dielman at Lyons. He died May 28, 1985.

Survivors include a son, Daryl Dielman, Pasadena, California and a brother, Udell "Udie" Grant, McPherson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ira Grant.

Funeral is Thursday, September 23 at Kaufman Funeral Home with the Rev. James Mardock presiding. Burial will be in Empire Cemetery, Galva, Kansas.
