Obituary

Elizabeth Klassen Klein, 89, Burrton, died Tuesday, Februry 9, 1999 at Buhler Sunshine Home, Buhler. She was born October 8, 1909 at rural Burrton, the daughter of Peter P. Klassen, Jr. and Mary Ratzlaff Klassen. A lifelong resident of Burrton, she was a homemaker. she was a member of Burrton Mennonite Church. On April 1 8, 1931, she married Leonard Carl Klein at Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors: son, Jimmie Klein, Burrton; daughters, Dorothy Deardoff and Joyce Dehm, both of Hutchinson; 8 grandchileren; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Peter J. Klassen and two sisters, Martha Peters and Catherine Klassen. Graveside service was Friday, February 12, at Burrton Cemetery with the Rev. James Gundy preiding.
