Obituary

Beverly Ann Easter, 63, Springfield, Missouri, former Halstead resident, died December 15, 2000 at her home. She was born December 7, 1937 at Halstead, the daughter of William and Betty Crow Schowalter. She was a homemaker. She was a 1955 graduate of Halstead High School and attended Salt City Business College in Hutchinson. She married Darreld Easter July 16, 1956 at Halstead. She enjoyed birds, animals, flowers and most of all traveling around the world with her husband, family and friends. Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Craig Easter and wife Karen, Springfield, Missouri and Kurt Easter and wife, Susan, St. Louis, Missouri; two daughters, Robbie Adams and husband Joe; Kansas City, Missouri and Renee Wilson and husband, Gil, St. Louis; her mother, Betty Schowalter; brother, Bill Schowalter and wife Betty, rural Halstead; 11 grandchildren and one greaat grandchild; nephew, Forrest Schowalter, Hutchinson; niece Autumn Schowalter, Wichita. She was preceded in death by her father June 20, 1969. Memorial services were December 2000 at Herman H. Loymeyer Funeral Home, Springfield, Missouri. Memorials to the American Cancer Society.
