Obituary

Lillian Elizabeth Lukensmeyer, 82, Tucson, Arizona, sister to Ada Lehman of Halstead, died Friday, December 24, 1999 at Tucson. She was born February 13, 1917 at Newton, the daughter of Albert and Ella McFarlane. She was a graduate of Newton High School and the Halstead Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1941. A lifelong resident of Tucson, she was employed as a nurse for the Bureau of Indian Affairs on the Papago Indian Reservation near Tucson.

In 1941, she married Ralph Lukensmeyer at Hot Springs, Arkansas. He died November 6, 1989. Other survivors include a daughter, Patricia Anne Lukensmeyer, Tucson; and two brothers, Andrew McFarlane, San Leandro, California and Dwight McFarlane, Beloit.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jay McFarlane and three sisters, Donna White; Fayanna Zimmerman and Mabel Boller.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, December 29 at the Catalina United Methodist Churcy, Tucson, Arizona.
