Obituary

Karen C. Ryan, 53, Burrton, died Monday, March 15, 1999 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born August 3, 1945 at Hutchinson, the daughter of Jerome and Elaine Beliel Walker. A Burrton resident for the past two and a half years, she was a homemaker and officee manager for their homebased freight hauling business. She was a former member of a bowling league in Hutchinson.

She married Jerry Ryan on December 15, 1965 at Pueblo, Colorado. He survives. Other survivors: father, Pueblo, Colorado; son, Robert E. Ryan, Burrton; daughter, Christine E. Schuley, Roeland Park; three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Services were Thursday, March 18 at First Christian Church in Burrton, with Wayne A. Pittman preesiding. Burial was in Burrton cemetery.
