Obituary

Vernon A. Stewart, 74, Denver, Colorado, brother to Marceline Findley of Burrton, died Saturday, December 11, 1999 at Denver. He was born June 6, 1925 at Turon, son of Ansel and Lily Kitlen Stewart. A Denver resident for 20 years, he was a cook in the restaurant business. He served with the U.S. Marines during World War II.

Survivors: brother Gary Stewart, Fort Lupton, Colorado; two other sisters, Glennis Leslie, Sugar City, Colorado and Melba Jean McMannis, Canton.

Graveide service was December 16 at Burrton Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Ankrom presiding.
