Obituary

Mary Louise McDonald, 91, passed away on Monday (Dec. 5, 2011).

Mary was active in the Catholic PTA, and she was director of the St. Pius Guild and former president of St. Margaret Mary Altar Society. She graduated from Newton High School in 1937 and worked as office manager and bookkeeper for Sunflower Supply and Duntz Tool Co.

Survivors include children, Kathleen Maus, Micheal McDonald (Mary) and John McDonald (Sandy), all of Wichita; sister, Madge Hood of Marshfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Kenneth McDonald; parents, William and Louise (Adam) White; and brothers, William, Edgar, Francis, Harold and Frank White.

Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 and the memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday Dec 9, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas, 2622 W. Central, Suite 501, Wichita, KS 67203.
