Obituary

Audrey F. Hoefer, 87, of Hutchinson, died November 6, 1992 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born February 9, 1905 at Burrton, the daughter of Abe and Lelia Tripp Warrick. A Hutchinson resident most of her life, she was a retired seamstress and was also a sales clerk for the former Wiley's and Calhouns department stores in Hutchinson.

She was a member of Westside Baptist Church; K.O.P.S. and the TOPS organizations and a member and past president of the Allen Grade School Parent Teachers Association, all of Hutchinson.

On April 4, 1925, she married Melvin Fred Hoefer at Hutchinson. He died May 1, 1988.

Survivors: three sons, Robert Hoefer, Escondido, California; James Hoefer and Jerry Hoefer, both of Hutchinson; two sisters, Alwyn Alexander and Lucile Ott, both of Hutchinson; 8 grandchildren and 6 greata grandchildren.

Funeral was November 10 at Westside Baptist Church, Hutchinson with Rev. James C. Burns presiding. Burial was in the Burrton, Kansas Cemetery.
