Obituary

Jerry Ewy, 63, owner of Docuplex Graphics, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 2525 N. Rock Road, Wichita.

Jerry is survived by his loving family; wife, Cyndie; son, Jay (Kristen) Ewy of Andover; daughter, Jennifer Ewy of Wichita; grandchildren, Easton, Paige and Piper; parents, Ralph and Doris Ewy of Halstead; brothers, Leroy of Halstead; Dr. Ken (Jane Ann) of Salina; sister, Carol (Tom) Rose, Halstead. He was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Ewy.

Jerry and Cyndie (Walton) were married April 4, 1970. They recently celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary. Jerry was a captain in the USAF and served his country in Vietnam. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing in Alaska, hunting waterfowl and big game hunting in Montana. He was a big fan of WSU sports and often traveled to support the WSU basketball team. He was best known for his unwavering love and support of his grandchildren and family, as well as his passion for Docuplex and the employees. He was a loved and respected employer. Jerry will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
