Curtis Lee Farmer, 49, Legg Company employee, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at his residence. He was born November 23, 1961 at Waco, Texas and was a Bentley and Halstead area resident for 45 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Sons of the American Legion Post 231, Halstead and the Fransisco I. Medero Society.

On December 15, 1979, he married Carolyn Sue Gomez at Newton. She survives. Other survivors: sons; Jason (Linsey) Farmer; Justin (Misty) Farmer; Josh Farmer and Jacob (Aurora) Farmer, all of Halstead, mother, Nelda Holman,North Newton; brothers; John Snyder, Baltimore, Maryland; Robert Snyder, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Sam (Brenda) Farmer, Halstead; sisters, Nancy (Chris) Sawaya, Hutchinson; Linda (Melvin Jr.) Pitts, Halstead; Dee (Mark) Lemons, Denton, Texas; Jody (Keith) Casebolt, Oxford, Mi; Debra (Royce) Meili, Wichita; Kim (Craig) Robinson, Newton and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Billie Joe Farmer.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 2 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
