Mark Harold Werbin

Mark Harold Werbin, 87, retired veterinarian passed away Friday July 1, 2011 at Derby, Kansas. He was born in Halstead to Theodore Lorenzo Werbin and Sarah Anna Simonson Werbin. He received his degree of Veterinarian Medicine from Kansas State University. He also served in the U.S. Air Force Resereves.

Survivors: wife, Nora Werbin, children; Susan (John) Tarvin of Birmingham, Alabama; Rebecca (John) Brungardt of Overland Park; Ted Werbin of Louisville, Kentucky and Jamie (Karon) Werbin of Derby; 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Chester Werbin and sister, Mary Fisher

Services were held Tuesday at First Christian Church. Interment followed at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
