Obituary

Mark Duane Becker, 47, Liberty Homes Engineer Facilitator, pased away Saturday, October 22, 2011 of heart disease at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, Kansas. He was born in Halstead to Ron Becker and Carole Steele Becker in February of 1964.

He loved spicy foods, cooking, riding his bike , his pets and his ten acres called "Ivy Gone Wile." He attended schools in Halstead and moved to Colorado in 1972 where he graduated from Loveland High School in 1982.

He is survived by his parents, Ron and Carole Becker; sisters, Annette (Steve) Ireland and Jill (Dave) Camptell, all of Colorado; grandmother, Della Becker of Moundridge. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn Becker and Alva and Bertha Steele.

A memorial service was held October 29 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Valley Center. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery near his uncle, Duane Steele.
