Obituary

William H. "Bill" Sutton, 85, died Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Schowalter Villa at the age of 85. He was born the son of Frank and Agnes Reed Sutton on Monday, January 4, 1926 in Lymon, Oklahoma.

On September 4, 1947, Bill and Betty Coffey were united in marriage in Burrton. Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage.

Much of Bill's caareer was spent as a salesman in various industries. He also served in the United States Army during WWII.

Survivors: wife, Betty of Hesston; three daughters, Sharon Sutton, Colorado Cprings, Colorado; Marsha Sutton, Wellington; Cindi Pugh of Cedar Vale; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Frank Sutton and sister, Maxine Wagner.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial services were Friday, December 2 at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, Wichita. A second service was Monday, December 5 at the Schowalter Villa in Hesston.

Interment was held at the Burrton Cemetery in Burrton.
