Ronald Wayne McCaratney, 56, former welder and farmhand, died Monday, August 8, 2011 at Sedgwick Healthcare Center.

He was born May 6, 1955 at Bittburg, Germany. survivors include father, Bobbie Joe McCartney, Mineola, Texas; mother, Bobbie McMaster, Halstead; sisters, Rhonda McCartney, Newton; Rita Cantrall, Reisa Kimball and Reneiece Sulin, all of Halstead; stepbrother, Brian McMaster, Kansas City, Missouri.

Cremation has taken place with private family services.
