Obituary

Albert A. Moots, former Halstead resident, died March 11, at a convalescent home in Enid, Oklahoma at the age of 6. He was born December 28, 1874 in McLean County, Illinois and was an early day resident of Halstead. He left here in 1914 and resided in Barber county and other parts of western Kansas for a number of years.

Survivors: son, Clark Moots, Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister, Mrs. Ora Grove, San Antonio, Texas and two brothers, John of Enid and Frank of Halstead.

Mr. Moots was returned to Halstead by members of the Kaufman Funeral services Services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Kaufman Chapel. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
