Obituary

Carmen Armendariz, 85, Halstead, died Monday, December 18, 2000 at Halstead Hospital. She was born February 27, 1915 at Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Gabino and Esther Triana Armendariz.

She was a lifelong resident of Halstead and a retired Dietary Technician at the Halstead Hospital. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead.

Survivors include a brother, Salvador Armendariz, Halstead. She was preceded in death by a brother, A. J. "Moody" Armendariz; two sisters, Esther Armendariz and Connie Hernandez.

Rosary is planned for Thursday, December 21, 2000 at the Church. Services are set for Friday, December 22, 2000 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father James O'Shea officiating. Burial will be in Halstad Cemetery.
