Obituary

Granville M. Edmonston, 87, former Sedgwick resident, father of Loyal Edmonston, Sedgwick, died July 20, 2000 at Laurel Manor Nursing Home, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He was born July 20, 1913 at Protection, son of Orley and Edna Snell Edmonston. He married Violet May Horner on December 13, 1935 in Coldwater. She died December 20, 1994.

He was an aircraaft worker t Beech for over 30 years. He belonged to the Christian Church of Sedgwick and the Beech Union International Association of Machinists.

Other survivors: three daughters; Guyla Taylor and Norma Driskill, both from Colorado Springs, Colorado and Kathryn Flory, Wichita; brother, Paul Edmonston, Protection; nine grandchildren and three great granchildren.

Services will be at Peterson Funeral chome Friday August 4 with Rev. Kim Beckwith officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemeter, Sedgwick.
