Obituary

Genevieve Pearl Enns, 91, Burrton, died Sunday, May 21, 2000 at Buhler Sunshine Home. She was born May 20. 1909 at Patterson, Kansas, the daughter of William Henry and Cora Nan (Carey) Jewell. She was a homemaker and had served as manager of the former G. & V. Cae.

On December 22, 1929 she married Abraham G. Enns at Burrton. He survives. She was a member of the Burrton Mennonite Church and the Ladies Missionary Society of the church.

Other survivors include a son, Glen Dale Blandin, Norton, Kansas; five grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Homer Jewlll, Wilbur Jewell, Harold Jewell and Carl Jewell; sister, Josephine Jerome Jewell and a great grandson, Jonathon Matthew Blandin.

Services were held May 24 at Burrton Mennonite Church conducted by the Rev. Jim Gundy. Burial was in the Burrton cemetery.
