Obituary

Marjorie E. Holdeman, 74, Bothell, Washington, former Halstead resident and mother of Marsha Holdeman, Halstead, died Saturday, October 7, 2000 at Stevens Hospital, Edmonds, Washington. She was born March 18, 1926 at Halstead, daughter of Harmon and Katie Zurbuchen (Later Hearting) Armstrong. She was a 1944 graduate of Halstead High School.

On December 23, 1945 she married Harlin Holdeman at Halstead and he survives of the home. She was a financial supervisor for the state of Washington in the Social and Health Services Department. She was very active and could have fun anywhere. She loved to travel and enjoyed her friends and family. She was a charter member of the Derby Methodist Church and a member of the UNW of the church of Derby.

Other survivors: one son, Greg Holdemn, Bozeman, Montana; another daughter, Sharlyn Thode, Sterling; 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services were Wednesday, October 11 at the Chapel of Purdy and Walters Funeral Home, Floral Hills, Washington. A memorial service will be held later in Halstead at time of inurnment at the Halstead Cemetery.
