Obituary

Gloria Marie Owens, 65, Sedgwick, bank teller at Sedgwick State Bank, died Wednesday, August 9, 2000 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center in Wichita. She was born May 8,1935 in McPherson to Ward V. and Maude A. Grant Myers.

She was a amember of Sedgwick United Methodist Church, Hicks-Davison American Legion Post No. 268 Auxiliary and 40 and 8, all of Sedgwick. She was a resident of Sedgwick the last 31 years.

She married Delbert J. Owens February 15, 1969 at Sedgwick. He survives. Other survivors: two daughters, Lori Lee Bridges and Lisa Ann Bobb, both of Wichita; one sister, Jean Koehn, Galva and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were August 12 at Sedgwick United Methodist Church with Pastor Kim Beckwith presiding. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick. Memorials to American Heart Associaition and American Cancer Society.
