Hutch News - 6-9-2004: RURAL NEWTON - Linda Voth, 54, died June 8, 2004, at Newton Medical Center, Newton. She was born Sept. 30, 1949, at Newton, the daughter of Marion Nattier and Ida M. Unruh. She attended school at McLains and Suncrest, Ramington High School and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Southwestern College, Winfield. She taught at Lakin, Whitewater, Hesston and Moundridge. She also worked as a loan officer at Federal Savings and Loan, Newton. She belonged to Goessel Mennonite Church, Goessel. On Nov. 1, 1980, she married Jerry Voth. He survives. Other survivors include: a son, J.J. Voth, of the home; a daughter, Carolyn, of the home; her father; and a sister, Beverly Fast, Moundridge. She was preceded in death by her mother.
