Obituary

Greg Sacks, 48, Newton, died September 10, 2000 at his residence. He was born February 8, 1952 at Topeka, the son of Jacob A. and Ruth A. Stadler Sacks. He attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Newton and was a member of the Newton Optimist Club. Mr. Sacks was active in yourh sports and coached basketball and baseball. He was very active in his sons sports activities.

He married Sony A. Lazaro August 6, 1983 in the country of Peru. She survives. Other survivors: his mother, Ruth a Cornelius, Newton; three sons, Gregory N. Sacks, Newton; Jacob A. Sacks, Newton and Michael Sacks, Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Paula R. Sacks. Dallas; one brother, Jacob A. Sacks, Douglas, Texas and two sisters, Cheryl Hagemann, Newton and Candy Hardman, Simi Valley, California.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob A. Sacks.

Rosary will be Thursday September 14. Services will be Friday September 15 at the Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Newton, Kansas.
