Obituary

Clyde O. Stone, 63, Sedgwick, died Sunday, February 6, 2000 at Newton Medical Center. He was born June 7, 1936 at Minneota, Minnesota, son of Clarence Orlando and Delia Ellison Stone. He was a machinist for 3-Way Pattern in Wichita.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead and was on the Flood Control Committee at Sedgwick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1956 to 1962.

On May 29,1965 he married Irene Dickerson at Newton. She survives of the home.

Other survivors: two sons, Thomas A. Stone, Newton and Kenneth P. Stone, Sedgwick; daughter, Maryann Base, Halstead; two sisters, Dena Bachman, New Hampton, Iowa and Carol Nichols, Schertz, Texas; 3 grandchildren. He was preceded iin death by his parents, two brothers, Harold Stone and Earl Stone and sister, Evelyn Helgeson.

Funeral was Wednesday, February 9 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newton. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Newton.
